Best Electric Luxury SUVs for 2023 — Car and Driver
Kudos to Lexus for getting into the electric SUV market, even if the five-passenger RZ has room for improvement. We’ll start with the good stuff, such as the RZ’s elegant cabin, smooth ride, and quick steering. With a base price of $59,650, the RZ isn’t cheap, though it’s competitively priced. The 308-hp dual-motor powertrain makes the RX450e reasonably quick, though, even if it’s not what we’d call rapid. Range, however, remains the RZ’s biggest stumbling block, with the RZ maxing out at 220 miles on a full charge, per EPA estimates.
Car and Driver rating: 7/10
Estimated driving range: 220 miles
