Travel And Fun

Sometimes the true meaning of travel lies not in reaching your destination, but in the beautiful scenery you encounter along the way.

When you escape from the noise and modernity of the city and embark on a journey to an unknown, mysterious destination, road trips can offer you a unique experience.

Picture yourself driving on a winding, rugged highway, playing a piece of music that's perfect for road trips, and opening windows to savor the freshness of daylight.

There's no heavy traffic, and no uniform urban architecture; you can stop as you go, relish the most original and magnificent natural scenery along the way, and feel the magic of nature. The scenery varies with the flow of the seasons, and every encounter can bring us a different feeling.

If you're planning a road trip, we recommend ten of the world's most beautiful roads around the island. Take a look and see if there's a place you'd like to visit:

2. Romanian Trans-Flagash Mountain Road

Located on National Route 7C in Transylvania, Romania, the 91-kilometer-long Trans-Fragash Mountain Road crosses the Carpathian Mountains at an altitude of 2,042 meters, making it the second-highest road in Romania.

The road is only open from June to October each year and features winding mountain roads, the longest tunnel in Romania, the Capra-Balea Tunnel, and passes through various attractions, such as the ruins of Bonari Castle, the large reservoir of Vidralu, and the glacial lake of Balea.

3. French Alpine Route

The Alpine Route is located in southeastern France and spans a length of 684 kilometers. Every year in June, this avenue across the Alps is opened to the public. It connects the picturesque Lake Geneva with the Mediterranean scenery of southern France from north to south, offering spectacular mountain views of the Alps along the way.

The Alpine Route is a classic route favored by many cycling and driving enthusiasts, with the scenic route of the Istrian Pass, known as "the highest road in Europe" and "one of the 14 craziest roads in the world," as well as the ruins of quaint stone villages.

The natural scenery includes the snowy tops of Mont Blanc, jagged rocks, valley waterfalls, and a sea of flowers.

4. Norway Atlantic Road

The Atlantic Coastal Road, part of Norway's National Road 64, is an 8.274 km long highway in the county of Møller-Rumsdal that connects a series of islands between the municipality of Ede and the municipality of Avo. It is the ninth most visited tourist attraction in Norway and was named one of the "best tourist roads in the world" by the British newspaper The Guardian.

The road is built between small islands and reefs, with a unique design of winding bridges that seem to lead to the end of the world, and is often swept by waves, making this section of road also known as the "Road to Heaven".
